Friday saw the Club’s first indoor Women’s Soft Ball Festival. With a good turnout, there was plenty of action, running about, and big hits (including some on the music system).

Rosy was in charge and expertly, and enthusiastically, led four groups through a series of soft ball cricket games and contests which culminated in a game between two teams that made good use of the spacious St Joseph’s Sports Hall.

A cricket highlight was perhaps Nat’s never-in-doubt catch as Orla tried to drill another six, but the real highlight was plenty of smiles at the end of an energetic evening with lots of participation.

We hope everyone enjoyed the session, and, for those there and those not, please keep an eye out for our next Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festival, indoors and outdoors, and join in next time.
