2024 Fixtures
The first senior game of the season is this Sunday. Unfortunately the rain has meant changes to the opening weekend of matches with the square not yet dry enough to prepare or play on.

with all the 1s, 2s and Sunday XI fixtures on our website/app.

If you want to be considered for selected for these games you MUST BE registered on our Pitchero Club website AND mark yourself as available.

NOTE: The 2nd XI will be playing 40 overs for all league matches with WDCU Championship 2 and Championship 3 Divisions continuing to play 40 over matches as they did last season.

Membership Prize Draw
Memberships are now due for the season and we are again offering a prize for prompt payment (by the end of April) of your cricket membership package of

Coaches Course at the Club in May
We are hosting a ICC Level 1 Coaching Course (2 days) at the club on Sunday 19th and 26th of May and which is being delivered by Cricket Scotland. Take the initial face to face course leading to you becoming a Level 1 cricket coach. See HERE.

Club Sponsorships

Outdoor sessions
Senior sessions at Nunholm have started and continue for the summer along with junior and W&G sessions.

Senior Training (from 2nd April)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7:30pm

Mondays Juniors (from 8th April)
Stars Sessions (ages 5-8) Mondays 6-7pm
Blasters Sessions (ages 9-11ish) Mondays 6-7:15pm

Womens & Girls (from 8th April)
Mondays 6-7pm

Wednesday Juniors (from 10th April)
Chargers Sessions (Under 14'ish) 6-7:15pm
(Note - fixtures and practice games on Fridays from 6pm)

These sessions are scheduled on our Pitchero website/app for the relevant teams.
We are always seeking new participants and you can always email dumfriescricketclub@gmail.com for further information about our outdoor sessions as required.

Junior Fixtures
Cumbria Junior fixtures are still (!) not yet officially released for our junior sides but there is 2024 league cricket for U11s and U13s. We are asking and will add these dates to our website as soon as they become available.

Women's Cricket
Well done to Niamh who has had some cricket to play with a series of games in the south of England last week with Scotland U19s Women.

Dumfries Cricket Trust
The Dumfries Cricket Trust is being launched this week. The charity aims to provide people with the opportunity to participate in cricket and achieve their goals. One of the DCT fundraising events is on Friday with a Golf Day and that just after the delivery at Nunholm of the first DCT session which supported people with Parkinson's.

"Welcome to The Dumfries Cricket Trust. We have been established to help provide opportunities for everyone to experience and participate in cricket in the Dumfries Burgh and surrounding areas. We will be running events to raise funds and then delivering activities in schools and the local community."
