MCC Cricket Hub - Glasgow

MCC Hubs are "a network of cricket Hubs that provide free-to-access training and match play to 3,000 state-educated young cricketers at 77 sites across the UK. The Hubs focus on talent: helping promising youngsters who have been engaged through mass participation activities or non-traditional formats to join cricket clubs, develop their hard-ball skills, and access the formal talent pathways."

Boys sessions - Tuesdays, Under 13s, 6:30-8pm, Under 16s 8-9:30pm at the High School of Glasgow.
Girls sessions - Saturdays, Age 11-16, 3-4:30pm at Hutchinsons' School, Glasgow

The Girl’s sessions are a transition to hard ball cricket to grow skills in a girls only environment.

Parents need to follow the QR code on the image to put their name down for the trial. Application date is by 10 Dec 2022.

The Club do appreciate that access to this opportunity will be difficult or not possible for many of our parents and carers due to location of the Hub in Glasgow.

Notes

• Each age group involves a trial (details to follow) and confirmation of places will be sent out on the following day.
• If a child is already in an Western Warriors age group squad or go to an Independent school, they are ineligible for the hub.
