AGM Friday; Women's U19 World Cup Saturday; Indoor Juniors back Monday

Cricket Club AGM on FRIDAY
The 2022 AGM is on Friday 13th January, 6:30pm and provides the opportunity for a get together for the new year.

Please consider if you can help the club on the committee or in another role or by volunteering. We are always looking for and grateful for any assistance.

Junior Cricket Indoor Programme resumes on MONDAY
Our Junior Cricket Indoor Programme continues indoors in St Joseph's College Sports Hall this month starting on Monday the 16th January for all age groups.

Monday 5-6pm (5-8years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (16 Jan – 13 Feb)
Wednesday 5-6pm (9-13 years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (18 Jan – 15 Feb)
Friday 4:30-6pm (14-18 years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (20 Jan – 17 Feb)

Women's U19 World Cup starts on SATURDAY
The U19 Women's T20 World Cup starts for Scotland on Saturday, the 14th. The first group game is against UAE at 8am UK time followed by South Africa on Monday and India on Wednesday.

If you want to follow and support the Scotland squad, which includes familiar faces in Orla and Niamh, you can follow online at twitter.com/CricketScotland, with the scores online at www.u19worldcup.com and the games live streamed on icc.tv and with match highlights later.

Cricket Scotland Player Pathway
Details regarding the Cricket Scotland Regional Training Centres trial process for 2023 e.g. for Boys U17s & U15s and Girls U18s has just been released and is available in the document attached to this article.

"The initial application stage includes uploading videos and a player biography to a cricket-specific online coaching platform called Ludimos, which is then followed by an invitation to face-to-face trials.

Please note the online platform will be open until the 30th of January 2023." [This is a change from the previous date of 23rd Jan]
