Saturday Working Party
A big thank you to Robert for organising the working party party last Saturday and to those that came to help, expecially juniors, Cory, Munro, Nairn, Hannah and Amelia! Plenty was done but there is still much to do and as a result the nets are unavaliable for use until the necessary maintenance work there is completed.

There is another working party a week on Saturday morning! Let Robert (McBride) know if you can come and help.

Women and Girls Cricket
It was International Women's Day on Saturday and Cricket Scotland also used that day to release their Women and Girls Action Plan (2025-2028). The accompanying news article is on their website here.

And, also to mark that day, Emma sent us a short video summary of her enjoyable season playing in Australia this winter.

Sign Up for Cricket this season - This means you!
This year "SCRS registration is now REQUIRED FOR ALL ADULTS AND JUNIORS playing competitive adult league and cup cricket" in Scotland. It also helps us as a club to help Cricket Scotland.

SCRS is the Scottish Cricket Registration System and further details about how to register can be found here.

Registration is required this season so you need to organise your own sign up here or ensure that it is has been renewed for this year.

This has relevance as to how the club is categorised, supported and considered for outside funding by Cricket Scotland. So help out your hard pressed club admins and get it completed now.

Running the Club
The March cricket committee meeting took place on Tuesday evening.
