Indoor Junior Sessions restart from January 26th
Indoor sessions resume at St Joseph's College on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-6pm, starting on Monday, the 26th January, with the Stars age group -

St Josephs College Sports Hall
Mondays 5-6pm Stars (5-8 years), Boys and Girls (26 Jan, 2, 9 Feb, 2, 9, 16 March)
Wednesdays 5-6pm Blasters/Chargers (9-11/12-15 years) Boys and Girls (28 Jan, 4, 11 Feb, 4, 11, 18 March) )
NOTE THE GAPS DUE TO SCHOOL HALL USAGE

New starters are very welcome. No equipment is required. Come along and have a try. Or contact us via email: dumfriescricketclub@gmail.com . No equipment is required.

Girls Only Dynamos sessions also restart from January 26th
Our Girls Only Dynamos sessions also resume on Monday the 26th January.

These fun soft ball sessions are free to attend and no cricket experience or kit is required, just bring trainers and some energy. Newcomers are very welcome so please share the opportunity with others.

Dumfries MCCF Girls Cricket Hub starts 22 January
A local opportunity for free-to-access girls cricket (for ages 11-17) starts on Thursday evenings, from 22 January, for 10 weeks, at St Jo's and is delivered by Cricket Scotland. "Looking to try girls cricket for the first time. Then sign-up for free today". The details can be found here.

Free Teacher Cricket CPD - 10th Feb
There is a free Teacher Cricket CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Course planned in Dumfries in February (after-school on Tuesday 10th) and delivered by Cricket Scotland. So if you want some more cricket at your school raise it with your teacher. Further details, plus how to book a place, are here.

Cricket Coaching Courses
A set of ICC Level 1 and Level 2 cricket courses for the New Year have been highlighted by Cricket Scotland. Full details can be found here with the nearest Level 1 course taking place in Saltcoats, Ayrshire (Sun 15&22 February) and Level 2 in Edinburgh in April. Let us know if you want to try helping with some coaching.

Scotland U19 Men at the World Cup Finals
Follow the Scotland U19s Men currently at the World Cup finals in Zimbabwe with upcoming group matches against Pakistan and England.

The 2025 Western District Cricket Union AGM is scheduled for Wednesday, the 21st January at 7pm (online).

Dumfries Sports Club AGM - 26th January
The Dumfries Sports Club Annual General Meeting (for 2025), is scheduled for 6:30pm on Monday, the 26th January at the Club. All members are invited to attend. Any items for the agenda and proposals, in writing, to the secretary by Sunday 18 January.
