Get Set Day
Thank you to the group that came to the ground last Saturday for our preparation day for the season and who helped complete a number of necessary tasks for the summer. Thanks to James, Mark, Drew, Cory, Belly, Robert, Bevo, Ronan, Dave, Hannah, Jessica, Bill, Angus, Hugh, Finley, Dashiel, Ross, Al. Apologies if someone has been missed out.

Summer of Sport Survey
We are planning summer activities and are keen to be involved in this year’s Summer of Sport! Aged 5–18? Tell us what activities you want, when sessions should run, and what would make you come along. Parents/carers: please support younger children to complete the survey together. Evening Senior Training
Senior training in the evening outdoors at the Club is underway.
Senior training - Tuesdays 6-8pm
Senior training - Fridays 6-8pm [Optional and check for other attendees on whatapp, etc]
And another weekend practice is planned for this Saturday 2-4pm with a catch-up in the bar afterwards..

First Senior Games
Our first pre-season games at Nunholm are coming up.

Saturday Western District WDCU league games start on the 2nd May for 1s and 2s and the Eden Valley Sunday League starts on the 3rd May. These fixtures are on our website for the respective senior teams. We are still pursuing a fixture swap directly with other clubs for the WDCU fixture schedule for our Saturday sides.

First Junior Games
Our U13 and U11 Cumbria League (and Cup) fixtures are on the website with, respectively, a start on Friday evening the 1st May and Sunday morning the 3rd May.

Summer Junior Sessions
Our junior sessions outside are underway at the club for the summer for boys and girls from ages 5 upwards. Thank you to our young helpers this week on a busy Monday - Macey, Edward, Cory, Angus.

We are looking for newcomers, so your child would be very welcome to come and a try a couple of sessions for free!

Stars Sessions - (ages 5-8) Mondays 6-7pm
Blasters [U11s] Sessions - (ages 9-11) Mondays 6-7:15pm. (Games Sunday mornings)
Chargers [U16/U15s/U14s/U13s] Sessions - (ages 12-16) Wednesdays 6-7:15pm
(Note - also fixtures and practice games on Fridays from 6pm)

Club Cricket Packages
Our cricket packages for the year are on the website here. Remember you need to be a senior or junior member of Dumfries Sports Club. Hence the distinction of DSC Member and Non-DSC Member in the descriptions. If in doubt ask us.

Get ready to register on PlayHQ
We will be contacting members to register for the Club as players on the PlayHQ platform used by Cricket Scotland this season. This covers the competitions in Scotland we are involved with under the WDCU and Cricket Scotland banners e.g. Saturday 1s, 2s and Scottish Cup competitions for seniors and juniors. You will need to be registered on PlayHQ to play in these competitions.

PlayHQ Online Scorers needed
Our matches in Scotland will be switching to use the PlayHQ system this season. Do you want to learn how to score our games? We require trained scorers.

Online courses are taking place in April. Please let us know if you want to get trained and help us out! Our new PlayHQ Club page is HERE.

Good luck Chris with Scotland
Good luck to former club junior Chris McBride who is still with Scotland Men in their Namibia tour which is currently taking place and has reached the T20 series against Namibia. How to follow and watch the games is HERE .
