Scotland Pathway Cricket
Congratulations to Nairn and Billy on their debuts for Scotland for Scotland U15s away against Cheshire U15s. Unfortunately the first game was called off due to rain. Both played in the 50 over match the next day. Nairn opened the bowling and finished with figures of 10 overs 2 for 41 and took a catch. Billy batted at three and batted the longest of the Scotland line-up until LBW to a bowler that came on as fifth change and had figures of 5 wickets for one run at one stage! Scotland U15s lost.

Well done to Macey who was playing for Western Warriors U15 Girls at Stirling on Sunday where the side won one and lost one T20 to the East U15s and getting a bowl in both games.

And Niamh has been captaining a Scotland U19s side in matches earlier this week with four wins against Cumbria and Shropshire.

In Memory
The Club is sad to hear of the passing of past player John Leicester. John played for the Dumfries 1st XI for a number of years from the late 70s to the mid 80s and will be known to several people associated with our club. We send condolences to his son Stephen, who also played as a junior at the club. and to his family and friends.

Dumfries Sports Club
The South of Scotland Tennis Championships have been taking place this week at the club and continue until the Finals Day this Saturday.

And we all need to work on our wicket celebrations at training next week.
