Summer Junior Sessions underway
A promising start this week with good numbers at our junior sessions outside which started up at the club for the summer for boys and girls from ages 5 upwards. Thank you to our young helpers on Monday - Macey, Corey, Angus.
We are looking for new participants, so your child would be very welcome to come and a try a couple of sessions for free!
Stars Sessions - (ages 5-8) Mondays 6-7pm (from 30th March)
Blasters [U11s] Sessions - (ages 9-11) Mondays 6-7:15pm (from 30th March) [U11 games Sunday mornings)
Chargers [U16/U15s/U14s/U13s] Sessions - (ages 12-16) Wednesdays 6-7:15pm (from 1st April) (Note - also fixtures and practice games on Fridays from 6pm)

Evening Senior Training underway
Senior training in the evening outdoors at the Club started this week on Tuesday after the clock change.
Senior training - Tuesdays 6-8pm (from 31st March)
Senior training - Fridays 6-8pm (from 3rd April) [Optional]
There also remain two weekend Saturday sessions.
Saturday 4th April - 12-2pm
Saturday 11th April - From 2pm at our Club Get Set Day for work on the ground.
(Club bar is open on Saturday from 13:30)

Mark the date to help us get set up for the season at our Get Set Day on Saturday 11th April.

2pm - net/practice
3.30pm - social catch-up in the bar (watch Grand National at 4pm with a possible club sweepstake)

Our first pre-season game is at Nunholm for the 1s is a friendly against Prestwick on Saturday, the 18th April.

Saturday Western District WDCU league games start on the 2nd May for 1s and 2s and the Eden Valley Sunday League starts on the 3rd May. These fixtures are on our website for the respective senior teams.
We continue to express our major concerns with the WDCU with this latest fixture schedule for our sides but, as yet, to no avail.

Updated Cricket Scotland Code of Conduct
When you participate in cricket at, and for, our club (as a player, official, member, staff, volunteer, parent, supporter) you are required to adhere to the Cricket Scotland Code of Conduct. This has been updated for 2026 and should be read and understood for the new season. The document can be viewed on our website and the Cricket Scotland website.
PlayHQ Online Scorers needed
Our matches in Scotland will be switching to use the PlayHQ system this season. Do you want to learn how to score our games? We require trained scorers.
Online courses are scheduled in April. Please let us know if you want to get trained and help out. Our new PlayHQ Club page is HERE.
