Congratulations to Emily and Jasmine who have been included for the first time in the Western Warriors Girls Academy Winter Training programme which includes fortnightly Sunday sessions in Glasgow from January to April.

Qualify as a Coach
Thinking about helping us with some coaching? There are Cricket Scotland courses coming up with the nearest one in Edinburgh at the end of March for one day on each of two weekends. Do contact us for assistance.

ECB Foundation 1 Course - This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach cricket sessions that are purposeful, active, safe and enjoyable. An ECB Foundation I Coach will be qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.

Follow Scotland
Scotland u19s have completed their group games in the U19 World Cup in the West Indies with three losses but creditable performances against Sri Lanka and Australia and a top score of 236 against the latter. They now move to knock out games in the 8 team Plate Competition.

Scotland Women are still playing in the 2022 Commonwealth qualifier tournament in Malaysia. Sue is the Scotland Team Manager there. The tournament winners qualify for the 8 team T20 competition in Birmingham.

Scotland have had a loss against Sri Lanka and then a win against Malaysia and Kenya today in a reduced 8 over-a-side match. See www.cricketscotland.com/scotland-defeat-kenya-in-rain-affected-match/
