Off to the Women's U19 World Cup in January
Many congratulations to two players in our Women's Premier League side, Orla (Montgomery) and Niamh (Muir), who have been selected for Scotland for the inaugural ICC Women's U19 World Cup which takes place in South Africa in January. More details can be found HERE

Junior Cricket Indoor Programme continues in January
Our Junior Cricket Indoor Programme resumes indoors in St Joseph's College Sports Hall in January starting on Monday the 16 January.

Monday 5-6pm (5-8years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (16 Jan – 13 Feb)
Wednesday 5-6pm (9-13 years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (18 Jan – 15 Feb)
Friday 4:30-6pm (14-18 years) St Josephs College Sports Hall (20 Jan – 17 Feb)

Cricket Club AGM - Fri 13 Jan
The 2022 AGM is to take place on Friday 13th January, 6:30pm.

Please consider if you can help the club on the committee or in another role or by volunteering. We are always looking for and grateful for any assistance.

2022 Sports Club AGM
The Sports Club AGM took place on Mon 12 Dec at 6:30pm. The Chairperson's report from Jock for 2022 can be found HERE and attached to this news article.

As far as Sports Club memberships are concerned the monthly membership payments are to remain unchanged for 2023/24. The one off annual membership fees, which apply from the end of the membership year at the end of February are to increase by £5 across nearly all of the various membership categories. However this will be only the second time in eight years that the club have increased fees.

Club World Cup Sweepstake
Congratulations to those placed in the club sweepstake - 1st John (Argentina), 2nd Andy (France), 3rd Jock (Croatia), 4th Polly (Morocco).

Boxing Day Domino Competition
For everyone. Approx 2pm start. Prize for Winner and Runner Up. Food with Pie and Beans and the Bar is open from 12.30pm till 7pm.

Cricket Scotland Roles
Cricket Scotland are also seeking applications for Talent Identification positions nationally and in the regions and for casual coaches to support Cricket Scotland programmes e.g. Disability Cricket and the Chance to Shine school programme. Details can be found HERE
