Free Teacher Cricket CPD
There is a free Cricket CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Course planned in Dumfries in February and delivered by Cricket Scotland.

So if you are Primary or Secondary Teacher, or if you know of one who would be interested in providing some cricket at your school then pencil in after-school on Tuesday, 10th February at St Joseph's College Sports Hall for a 2-hour CPD session. Active Schools will be circulating further information and how to book a place in the New Year.

"The aim of Cricket Scotland’s CPD is to offer teachers, volunteers, and young leaders the opportunity to develop their confidence to deliver cricket within schools. The training will focus on teaching games for understanding so pupils are able to learn and develop the skills of cricket while playing games, doing this will allow you as teachers to create a fun and engaging environment for the participant.Taking part in the CPD, schools will receive free resources and a kit bag to help them confidently deliver cricket either during curriculum or extra curriculum time"
