Overseas Cricket
Adam (Malik) is at a Cricket Academy in Pakistan over the winter and was able to learn from the best this week when he got the opportunity to observe the ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, close up as he practised in the middle. See the video

U19 Women's World Cup
The Scotland U19s completed their World Cup with an exciting last over 5 wicket win against the USA. The line-up was shuffled for the final game but Orla did get to play and played her part by making the much needed first breakthrough and finished with 2 wickets. The tournament semi-finals are on Friday (England v Australia, India v New Zealand) and the final is on Sunday, see icc.tv. If India win then Scotland can say they lost to the eventual winners!

Dumfries Sports Club
A block of women's H//T Squash starts on Tuesday. This is a free fun squash based fitness session aimed at adult female squash beginners.
