Two Saturday wins for the 1s and 2s; a maiden century for Munro; Nineties club for Ronan; Edward, Cory and Macey playing pathway cricket.

Scotland Pathway Cricket
Well done to Edward and Cory who were selected for the Western Warriors U15s regional game in Perth on Sunday against Caledonian Highlanders. Cory got into double figures batting at 8 and Edward took a catch behind the stumps.

Well done also to Macey who reached four wins on Saturday for the Cricket Scotland U16 Girls Eagles in their regional series against the other team, the Stormers, with a T20 game at Strathallan and with a red-inker not out and 1 wicket for 14.

Senior Games
Saturday's league games were dominated by two individual high scoring innings for the Club, and which both resulted in wins. Munro got past his 99 of a couple of weeks ago for his maiden century scoring 130 against Mearns as opener and was last man out. Ronan just missed out with 95 for the 2s at home against Hamilton Crescent when he was caught on the midwicket boundary seeking a fifth six.

On Sunday it was a one wicket loss for a youthful Dumfries side in the Scottish Challenge Cup at Kilmarnock. Callum made it very close with his 5 wickets but a frustrating and significant 10th wicket partnership got Kilmarnock home.

And the local Midweek League kicked off on Wednesday with a 9 wicket win for the Marchbank Bakers Colts over St. Michaels at Nunholm.
