Time for a Nunholm Bulletin with a lot having happened and a lot happening and in digestible bullet points too.

- The Cricket Club have called an EGM for next Thursday evening, Thu 7 July 2022, 18:30-19:00. (The meeting is to approve alterations to the Club Constitution to reflect new banking arrangements).

- The Club has completed its summer term schools cricket programme in and around Dumfries - 17 Schools, 60 plus Sessions, nearly 1000 Primary Pupils

- Summer holiday cricket sessions are coming up with our free Dumfries Cricket Academy Summer Programme [Ages 5-8, Ages 9-13, Girls Only(7-13), Disability Cricket(all ages)] as part of the "Dumfries & Galloway Amazing Summer". You do need to explicitly sign up to book a place.

- Past Dumfries junior and senior player Chris McBride has been named in the Scotland men's squad again with upcoming Scotland games in Glasgow and Ayr.

- The 1s are up to 3rd in the West Premier League.

- The 2s posted the highest total of the season, and of many seasons, of 337 on Saturday.

- Speaking of big scores the Dragons scored 208 for 4 in last Thursday's Nunholm Cup evening match. To their opponents, the Devils, "what happened?" :)

- A quote from Bevo on Sunday, "the best catch I have ever seen" describing the committed catch by Wahid on Sunday at Stainton. "Sprinting in, a forward dive at full stretch on a slippery outfield, caught it millimetres above the ground and in a downpour!"

- The women's team upset the apple cart by beating Women's Premier League title prospects Northern Lights (basically the North) in Perth on Sunday (by 3 runs!).

- Well done and good luck to Orla and Hannah who have been invited by, and have been playing with, Lancashire Women down south.

- Thanks to the volunteers who made the visit of the Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay last Wednesday to Nunholm a successful one.

- We are reaching an awkward fortnight for availabilty for our teams with the start of the school holidays. So make sure you help your team manager with a definite Yes/No/Not Sure response about your availability for games.

- And we have regional pathway matches coming up at Nunholm. Next Thursday, 7th - West U15s v XL Club (Scotland), Sunday 10th - West U18s Girls v East
