Junior Cricket Indoor Programme - from 31st Oct
To put in your schedules! Junior cricket is returning after a break with our Winter Indoor Programme. It starts the week after the October school holidays on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school for Stars, Blasters and Chargers.

First sessions are on Mon 31 October (Stars), Wed 2 November (Juniors/Blasters) at St Josephs and Fri 4 November (Juniors/Chargers) at Dumfries Academy.

The schedule is below. We will be flexible about age categories. The Academy hall booking on Fridays provides the option of hard ball nets.

Monday 5-6pm (5-8years) St Josephs College (31 Oct-5 Dec) & (16 Jan – 13 Feb)
Wednesday 5-6pm (9-13 years) St Josephs College (2 Nov – 7 Dec) & (18 Jan – 15 Feb)
Friday 4:30-6pm (14-18 years) Dumfries Academy (4 Nov – 9 Dec) & (20 Jan – 17 Feb)
Friday Indoor Training - from 4 Nov

The Friday indoor sessions are also going to be available for senior and women & girls training. This is going to evolve based on player engagement. Friday 4:30-6pm Dumfries Academy (4 Nov – 9 Dec) & (20 Jan – 18 Feb).

Awards Night - Sat 19th November
Our rescheduled Awards Night is on Saturday 19th November at the clubhouse starting at 6pm. Watch out for future news.

Cricket Club AGM
The 2022 AGM is to take place at the start of December. Details to follow. Please consider if you could help the club on the committee or in another role.

Good to see a contingent in the bar on Friday for some drinks and reminiscing about their Ladies Day cricket highlights!

Net Lane 1 Closed
Lane 1 (nearest the ground) is closed for use until we can examine and attend to the nets. Use lanes 2 and 3 please.

Time to collect your kit
It is time to take your kit home from the club if you are not using it for training e.g. We need more room in the scorehut to store equipment.

Parents, participants, supporters, make sure you are registered on the website (go HERE) to receive news of winter activities and cricket at your Club. This is how we communicate with our supporters. Don't miss out.

Remember if you are a member you can approach Willie behind the bar if you wish to use the Club as a venue for a possible personal function for youself.

Squash Club Programme

Ladies club night will run every Friday night from 18:15-21:15 on court 3 from 30th September.
Club night will run every Monday night on courts 3 & 4 from 18:15 until 21:15 from 3rd October.
Junior club night will run every Saturday night on courts 2, 3 and 4 from 17:00 until 18:30 from 1st October.
Monthly squash handicap competition will be held on the 3rd Friday of the month.
