Transitioning to weekday evening sessions
This week has been the first week of evening Club sessions with the clock change shifting scheduled sessions from the weekend to evenings. There has been a healthy first week response over Easter from the youngest, All Stars on Monday, to the Seniors on a chilly evening on Thursday and it has been great to have the help of juniors Orla and Max as assistant coaches.

The weekday evening schedule -

Mondays 5-6pm All Stars(ages 5-8), 6-7:15pm U11s and Dynamos(ages 8-11), 6:15-7:15pm Adults Into Cricket
Tuesdays 5:30-7pm U13s and U15s+ junior sessions, 7-8:30pm Seniors
Thursdays 5:30-7pm U13s and U15s+ junior sessions, 7-8:30pm Seniors
Fridays 6-7:30pm Women and Girls

We are keen to welcome new players and participants of all ages.

NEW INITIATIVE: ADULTS INTO CRICKET Sessions (Monday evenings)
Adult return or begin to play cricket sessions.

Are you a parent wanting to try cricket?
Or have you played a bit before and are thinking you would like to give it a try again?

Adult Into Cricket Sessions - Mondays (for 4 weeks initially) 6:15-7:15

Kit not necessary (but bring it if you have something)
You choose your level (for fun; soft ball; hard ball)
Come and have a try

All Stars and Dynamos Cricket open to book
Our 2021 Summer All Stars (ages 5-8) and the new extra Dynamos Cricket (ages 8-11) official programmes are open to book places for girls and boys to introduce them to cricket or improve their game.

These sessions are the blocks for the start of the official National programmes. However we aim to provide more than that. So those registered can also attend the Monday All Stars and Monday u11s/Dynamos sessions underway now and until the end of the season.

U11s can still join with a junior membership as usual without registering for the extra Dynamos sessions.

Women and Girls Cricket
We now have Friday evening sessions from tomorrow 6pm, and we are also continuing with Sunday mornings from 10am with the aim of making Sundays a regular game day (e.g soft ball cricket) during the summer.

Booking the Net Area
A reminder that the mechanism to book the net area (at non-scheduled club training times) is via the link below, make sure you record all names and conform to our Covid Guidelines.

Bad luck for Cadets CC skipper, Andrew Mascall (our overseas year of 2018 :) ) in his side's Cup Final weekend in New Zealand, but what an international ground to play on - The Bay Oval.
