Summer Holiday Programme
Our summer programme took place over five weeks of the school holidays. The twenty sessions successfully provided a variety of boys and girls aged 5 to 14 with a free first experience of cricket. See HERE

End of Evening Junior Sessions
Our coaches are going to be taking a break for a while and this week has been the last of the summer evening junior sessions i.e. these are the Monday Stars and Blasters and the junior sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. Monday was also the final Monday W&G Soft Ball Cricket session.

But we hope to see everyone at the Club Day on Saturday. Make sure you are registered on our website to receive news about our indoor and winter programme.

The Tuesday and Thursday evening senior sessions are at the discretion of those senior players who want to keep training.

Representative Cricket
Good luck to James (Hobman) who is selected for Scotland U17s against Jersey U17s at Ayr Cricket Club on Saturday.

Good luck to women's team players Lorna (Jack) and Hannah (Rainey) who are off to Abu Dhabi in the Middle East with Scotland Women as they try to qualify for the Women's T20 World Cup and with Sue who is the team manager. Their first group game is on the 18th Sep (vs USA, Bangladesh, Ireland). The top two teams in the eight-team event will qualify for the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa. At an online Special General Meeting on Wednesday a new WDCU committee has been voted into office with a WDCU AGM to be convened later this year. The make up of that committee can be found HERE.
