Winter Junior Sessions restart on 27th January
Our indoor junior sessions start up a week on Monday! Sessions start up (on Mon 27 Jan, Wed 29 Jan) for a block of weekly sessions in the St Josephs College Sports Hall with a week gap for the February half-term.[NOTE: Now starting 1 week later than originally on Mon 27th, Wed 29th (exams in hall). Apologies.]
Mondays 5-6pm Stars (5-8 years), Boys and Girls (27 January - 3 March. 5 sessions)
Wednesdays 5-6pm Blasters/Chargers (9-11/12-15 years) Boys and Girls (29 January - 5 March. 5 sessions)

Cumbria - Open Age-Group District Hubs from 13th January
An Indoor District Hub is operating in Carlisle at Trinity School Sports Hall for U11s, U15s (Tuesdays), U13s (Mondays) from 13th January. Details are HERE with a fee involved for the programme. Ask your Club Coach for more background information or send the club a message.
MCCF Cricket Hub Trials this weekend
Open to boys and girls (ages 11-16), free-to-access cricket with winter training and summer match-play opportunities starting in January at a MCC Foundation Hub. Our nearest MCCF Hub in Scotland is in Glasgow, then in Edinburgh. Last opportunity with the Glasgow trials scheduled for this weekend, Sunday. We have had juniors attend before so ask us, or your coach, with your questions. Details are HERE on our website.

January Social and Senior Awards Night - Fri 31st Jan
We are holding a Seniors Award night on Friday, 31st January (6 for 6:30pm). This coincides with the start of the Rugby Six Nations (France v Wales at 8:15pm). So first will be our awards for season 2024 and then drinks to watch the rugby.

Women's Cricket - Scotland at the U19 Women's World Cup
The Scotland squad, including Niamh, are in UAE for a pre-tournament training camp and warm-up fixtures against Ireland, before arriving in Malaysia on 11 January for the ICC Women’s U19 World Cup which begins on Saturday 18 January when Scotland play Australia. That is followed by group games against Nepal and Bangladesh.

The January Cricket Club committee meeting is on Thursday 23rd January (at the clubhouse at 7pm).
