2025 Scottish Women & Girls in Sport Week
This week is the 2025 Scottish Women & Girls in Sport Week and we have marked it with a club video, here on the website and also online on social media. (Join the Scottish Minister for Sport and give it a watch and a 'Like'.) (Ed likes the final clip).
Amongst the season's activities, it celebrates our female trophy winners this season with Macey, Jasmine and Orla as Scottish Premier League title winners, and also Scottish Cup Runners-up this season, plus an Australian league title win for former junior Emma playing a winter season in Melbourne, Australia.
There was an associated Cricket Scotland celebration event for Scottish Women's Cricket at Clydesdale CC on Sunday in Glasgow which Sue, and Hugh, attended on behalf of the club.
Indoor Junior Sessions
We are just awaiting confirmation of hall availability. Not long until we are back in business. Watch this website.
Cricket Overseas
James (Ritchie) took a great slip catch for his new side Northern Cape in South Africa when he was on as a substitute fielder in their first game at the weekend. You can watch an impressive catch here on youtube. And the local wildlife spectator was impressed too :)
And congratulations to him on then making his Northern Cape debut this week on Thursday, batting at six and in at 27 for 4 and then top scoring with a score of 79 when he was the 9th wicket out. BBC scorecard. Streamed on youtube.
