Photo: The title winning Watsonian/Dumfries Women team on Sunday
Watsonian/Dumfries Women won the Scottish Women's Premier League title with their 6 wicket victory against East Kilbride on Sunday to win the WPL title for the first time, and became only the third team to do so since the League's inauguration in 2017. That outcome was one better than last year when the combined side finished second.
There is some brief footage of the Sunday game here on facebook and instagram.
Well done to Macey, Orla, Jasmine, for travelling to be part of a title winning squad and to them and the Watsonian women on a 100% winning record with eight wins. Well done also to Niamh who was the team's second top run scorer, which included two fifties.
