Preparations for next season's under thirteen campaign began with six-a-side internal match. Both games went down to the last over and there were enough good performances to provide optimism.
Munro Cubbon was the winning captain in both games and contributed with 9 runs and 2 for 13 from his 2 overs but Nairn pipped him on the all-rounder stakes with 10 runs and 2 for 11.
However the leading all-rounder and leading batter was Jacob Holden with 19 runs and 1 for 6 from his 2 overs. Cory Dawson made a bid for all-rounder status with 10 runs in the second game and produced the ball-of-the-day to take the second of his two wickets.
Roma Peniston, 1 for 5 from 3 overs and Samuel Wilcox, 2 for 11 from 3 overs were very impressive with the ball.
