Dumfries U11s Dynamos generate some action

The Dumfries U11s Dynamos generated some action on Saturday morning with a hotly contested soft ball game with a good turn out and run out on a dry and sunny morning.

The highlights of a busy morning were top 'big match' debuts from Leo and Angus #2 with, in particular, Leo bowling well and Angus doing well with the bat, and it was great to see Rukaya returning for some more soft ball cricket. Nairn launched a couple of sixes. and Jacob was pitted against the batting of his dad in the final pairs contest and that needed the third umpire for a run-out decision. The out decision stood. There was plenty of other good fielding on display with direct hits for several run-out attempts.
