U11s had an exciting game at Penrith where they finally lost by 17 runs
The Dumfries Under-11s also had an exciting game at Penrith on Sunday where they lost by 17 runs in the end.
Jak Aindow had a promising debut with his first wicket and runs too. Cory Dawson was the main run scorer with 41 in the adjusted Dumfries total of 268 for 5.
Wickets were shared around as Penrith reached 285 with the top wicket takers being Angus Pickstock taking three wickets and Archie Coltart two.
