Marauders Win Over Ninjas

Despite losing the impressive Billy Morgan to Cory Dawson with one ball in what was an equally impressive bowling performance, the Marauders posted a challenging 91 for 3 dismissals in 17 overs. Munro, Bill and Avi, in their three contrasting styles, kept the scorecard scribbler very busy. But he did get some respite from Joe Hall's tidy overs.

The Ninja's reply got off to the worst possible start and that effectively put paid to their chances - both Nairn and Jacob run-out in the first over! What that allowed, though, was a gutsy batting performance from the under 11 skipper, Cory and a very intelligent one from Jasmine. The star of the innings, however, was Macey whose catch at mid-off was just a bonus on top of some sublime, economical, wicket-taking bowling.
