Our second intra club junior match was a much closer encounter - the computer seemed to have got its act together – but it didn’t look like that to begin with. Team Cory batted first and Rahul, Isaac and Cory had the scoreboard rattling along. However and the change bowling slowed things down before another surge got them to an impressive 115 in 20 overs.

Team Bill’s reply did not get off to a good start when Angus bowled his brother - the target seeming a long way away - but some powerful hitting and running from Yazdan combining with some silky hitting and running from Macey got them to within a whisker of victory.
In the end it was not the runs of the batters that won the match but the all-round wicket taking of the bowlers capped with Angus's final over taking the last wicket with only 3 runs to spare.

Neither Lleyton (2/18 and excellent fielding) nor Cameron J (1/8 and 12) deserved to be on the losing side but Player of the Match Daniel (2/18 and 10) certainly deserved his win.
