The U13s lost to Stainton here on Friday evening

Stainton proved too strong for Dumfries. Batting first the Nunholm outfit started well with Cory Dawson top-scoring before misjudging one. Angus Middlemiss also got double figures before taking one liberty too many. Macey C-B and Jack Wyatt can count themselves unlucky – out to good balls.
Danny Allsop was the stand-out bowler – deserving his 3 wickets – but extras put paid to making a match of it. A six-wicket defeat with 6 overs to spare was a fair reflection of the game.
