For this fixture it was Macey that was flying the flag for the club at Carlton and in the humble opinion of this contributor should have dismissed the former Scotland Captain for 1 in her second over if the slip had not been so close. Judge for yourself on Youtube HERE :)

Anyway a series of wickets stalled the WDD/DCC first innings progress and batting at nine Macey was in at 62 for 7 in the 18th over. A good partnership got to 84 eight over later with Macey batting well in facing twenty five balls including a number from a couple of Scotland bowlers when she looked pretty comfortable.

Carlton reached the target of 101 for two down with more wickets required to attempt to defend it.
