In perfect cricketing conditions the Dumfries Sunday side played Dalton in a thirty over friendly at Nunholm.

The visiting side displayed too much batting firepower as Campbell Potts hit 44, Mark Irwin 32 and Lee scored 30 not out in reaching 179 for 5. However good bowling from Fraser Strachan, Aiden Collingwood and Mat Williams got them one wicket each and Kirsty Strachan took two.

Dave Strachan was the JB Houston Dumfries Man of the Match with his score of 52 not out with good support from Fraser Strachan and Aiden Collingwood. However after the four early wickets from Mark Irwin the Nunholm side finished shy by thirty three runs on 146 for 8.
