On Sunday the Dumfries Sunday XI posted another large total of 266 for 6 against Irthing Vale as several batsmen were in the runs at Nunholm. An opening stand had Muir scoring 24 and Elliott hit 53 retired. Max Corbett-Byers continued his record as one of the top run scorers in the the league with 51 retired and then Jabarkhil with 31 and Reddipalli with 50 not out made hay in the closing overs.
Kennedy and Pervaz were top scorers with 39 and 40 but the visitors had a big total to chase. Fergus Bainbridge took three wickets and on his senior debut eleven year-old Cory Dawson took two wickets coming on as first change. Two run outs also helped as Irthing Vale finished the 36 overs on 150 for 9.
