On winning the toss Panthers, as is their want, chose to bat first and, as is their want, "went for it". Sean Thornely took a couple of early wickets but this only allowed Khan to the wicket and with Heera it looked like they were going to post an imposing total.
However Declan Brooks changed the course of the match with an impressive spell. Captain Callum also did some damage and along with a couple of handy overs from Luke McBurnie the target was set at a reasonable 103. It should also be said that safe catching did the cause no harm.
The JHY reply got off to an excellent start; Jacob Taylor, Adam Malik and Tapiwa Mufudza all scoring heavily and quickly but it took a calm couple of shots from Ronan Dunbar to complete the historic victory by only 2 wickets.
