Good game. Good Game...
It was a last ball win for James Hallam Colts on Wednesday against the Heath Pros in a Midweek League finish that held the spectators rapt until the final ball.
Everyone contributed, because everyone had to, as they won with one wicket left.
Cory and Bill were the seventh wicket under-13 pairing that helped take the side into the final over as a couple of ill fated runs resulted in two run outs in the closing overs just to keep the bar watchers interested.
The Colts fought back to restrict the runs by taking wickets in the first innings with one each for Bill, Matt, Wahid, Hyder, Harith and two for Ronan. Mat, Chamila and Adam kept the runs flowing for the Health Pros.
Max and then Ronan and Scott seemed to have the run chase well in hand until Wahid was run out forlornly asked to run a third. Cory, batting at six, marshalled the lower order, all of it, to leave Drew to face one ball, the last one, with the scores tied.
