Men's T20 World Cup starts Sun 17th October
Scotland's first match is on Sunday against Bangladesh in the ICC Men's Twenty20 World Cup in Muscat, Oman (at 15:00PM). See www.t20worldcup.com #FollowScotland

They are in Group A with Bangladesh, PNG, and Oman and play them in that order. The top 2 sides get into the Super 12 stage with two groups of 6.

Scotland have been in the Middle-East for a couple of weeks and have won three 50 overs games against PNG and Oman, and have won four T20s, including beating PNG, lost one against Namibia, who they then defeated today.

The prospects are promising and if they finish second to Banglandesh they would play England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies and probably Sri Lanka.

The games can be seen live on Sky, clips and highlights on BBC, heard on radio and online on BBC Test Match Special and followed online @CricketScotland, #T20WorldCup e.g. www.twitter.com/cricketscotland
