We are hosting four Cricket Scotland age group match days in July and August, starting next week on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wed 8 July - Scotland U16s Boys Vs Lancashire, 50 overs 11am start
Thu 9 July - Scotland U16s Boys Vs Cheshire, 50 overs 11am start
Mon 3 Aug - Scotland U16s Boys Vs Derbyshire, 50 overs 11am start
Wed 12 Aug - Scotland U18s Girls Vs Cumbria, 2 x T20s 11am & 2.30pm starts
We have a small team on the day to support game ops but we really welcome any other helpers.
Scotland Selections
Congratulations to Munro who was selected for Scotland U18s versus Derbyshire this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Nairn had to withdraw due to injury. Munro top scored with 63 opening in the 50 over match and hit a 6, and 38 not out, to win the first T20.
And well done to Macey who has been selected for the Scotland Emerging Girls for their games against Northumberland U18 Girls from the 13th.

Senior Games
The Dumfries sides did the double over Hillhead on Saturday with two solid league wins for the 1st and 2nd teams. Highlights were a 5-for and 3 wickets for Callum and Tommy to dismiss Hillhead for just 60. Lachlan hit his highest score with 98 for the 2s at home and there were four wickets for Dashiel after opening the bowling. On Sunday, Dashiel hit 50 not out in partnership with Sultan, with 64 not out, to win by one wicket at Wigton. Dave also registered a 5-for in the Wigton innings.

Summer Junior Sessions
Our junior sessions take place at the club for the summer on Mondays and Wednesdays for boys and girls from ages 5 upwards. For the details see HERE.

Blasters [U11s] Sessions - (ages 9-11) Mondays 6-7:15pm. (Games Sunday mornings)
Chargers [U16/U15s/U14s/U13s] Sessions - (ages 12-16) Wednesdays 6-7:15pm

Scotland Women at the T20 World Cup!
Scotland Women performed very creditably and were competitive in all their ground stage matches.
The Women’s World Cup Final takes place on Sunday at 3:30pm at Lords between Australia and England.
