Scotland U16 Boys here on Monday
Scotland U16 Boys play Derbyshire U16s here on Monday in a 50 over fixture which starts at 11am. Help on the day is always welcome to put on these games. Let us know.

Senior Games
At the weekend the 1s hit 309 for 9 with runs made throughout the order and with Ronan the top scorer with 44. Visitors Mearns were dismissed for 117 with Al taking three wickets at the start and Billy three wickets at the end with great catches on camera by Bevo and Pat.

Thirty runs short was the after-match verdict on the 2s three wicket loss to Hamilton Crescent played at Stirling CC. The 2s set 209 all out with Andy top scoring with 48. Then a big opening partnership seemed to set the West of Scotland 3rd team up for a comfortable win, but wickets were taken and they needed a 24 run 8th wicket partnership to get home.

The Sunday XI lost their Eden Valley T20 Cup match against Langholm by 5 wickets. Cory hit 70 not out in their score of 135 for 6. Lachlan and Finley each took 2 early wickets but the visitors got home in the last over.

Evening Senior Training
Senior training takes place in the evening outdoors at the Club.

Summer Junior Sessions
Our junior sessions take place at the club for the summer on Mondays and Wednesdays for boys and girls from ages 5 upwards. For the details see HERE.

Stars Sessions - (ages 5-8) Mondays 6-7pm
Blasters [U11s] Sessions - (ages 9-11) Mondays 6-7:15pm. (Games Sunday mornings)
Chargers [U16/U15s/U14s/U13s] Sessions - (ages 12-16) Wednesdays 6-7:15pm
(Note - also fixtures and practice games on Fridays from 6pm)

Pathway Cricket
Both Munro and Macey have played Scotland age-group games this week. Munro was playing in the U17 Celtic Cup against Ireland being held at Dollar Academy. He top scored with 36 opening in a six wicket win in the first 50 over match. The second match was abandoned after Ireland’s innings and in the last game Ireland set a total of 242 all out with Munro being asked to bowl seven overs. Then he scored 92 opening to take his side to the brink of their 7 wicket win.

Macey played in two T20 matches for Scotland U16 Girls against Yorkshire U16s at St Boswells with a win in game one and a loss in game 2. And congratulations to her on her selection for Scotland U16 fixtures next week.

Macey was also very instrumental in the close win by Watsonian Women in their T20 Scottish Cup game against East Kilbride on Sunday to reach the semi-final. Her late hat-trick helped prevent a win from 125/2 chasing 157.

And Dashiel also featured in a win on Monday for the MCCF Glasgow U13 Boys against the Cumbria North Hub to reach Round 4 of the UK wide MCCF Hub cup competition.
